Winter Woes

Hi! So im totally diggin the Vancouver weather its perfect for just a sweater and a cute pair of booties. Dying for a cashmere sweater I saw with a gorgeous tiger! *sigh* money money. I have been trying to decide which subscription box to start up with. After being an ambassador for GlossyBox, I really miss reviewing monthly boxes. Anybody have any reviews on the Snackbox? June Glossy Box

Hey Beautiful's ,

Here is the June 2012 GlossyBox I said I would post, ( Better late than never! )
I have heard a lot of feedback that people don't like Glossy shipping so late in the month, but honestly I don't mind. Its nice to have anticipation!!

Every month your pretty GlossyBox comes in the cutest pink box, (about 6" x 4" ) wrapped in black tissue paper, the Glossy sticker and a pretty pink ribbon.

I LOVE LOVE the boxes that they send them in, you can use them for anything! Personally I use mine to store my makeup. example- Its now fall, so all my summer makeup and colors get put away in "storage" in these cute boxes! I also use them to store miscellaneous jewelry.

Here was the contents to my June box, ( I lost my pictures so I had to borrow this picture off google )

1st- Venus Embrace Razor

I actually prefer Venus to almost any other type of disposable razor. I find that with my extremely sensitive and eczema prone skin that its definently one of the softest feeling razors.
I also really enjoy the texture of the handle, as its almost rubbery. We all know how slippery things get in the shower!

2nd- Biore Pore strips

I adore Biore products! They are the gentlest on my skin and leave it feeling refreshed.
The pore strips were a good addition to the box, as I know that I will get use of them. Out of all the strip products I have tried Biore is the best. Even my boyfriend lets me use them on his nose for those unruly blackheads. If its strong enough for a man... well enough said! I think the only downside to Biore is that its quality over quantity. Meaning it may cost you 10 dollars, but you only get a few of the product.

3rd- Covergirl Flipstick  (in manx)

I have always been a fan of Covergirl, so I was elated to see this product. Its a double ended 2 color lipstick. I guess a lot of girls got theirs in this color and were not impressed. I personally loved it! I love to play with colors especially on my lips. Manx came with one side being a very brassy bronze color and the other almost brown. I find that if you put the darker color on first and blend with the brassy bronze it looks stunning! I would definently get this product again just based on the consistency of the product and the feel ( non tacky/sticky )

4th- Neutrogena UltraSheer dry touch sunscreen spf55

Honestly I have never much been interested in sunscreen, as I don't burn or tan, so its been irrelevant.
I did however try the product so I could properly review it, and I must say it would be nice to just use as a lotion. Its very moisturizing and drys very quick. I'm not too much a fan of the smell, but its not disgusting either.

5th - Wella Professionals Ocean Spritz

I have never tried Wella before this product and I'm very happy with it! It smells good, and has a great hold. I would definently be interested in trying their other products.
My hair is naturally curly, so its a products I fully intend to use. This product is great for "beach hair" I find saturating the hair with water ( after showering don't dry ) and use John Frieda frizz ease and this well spray then grab all your hair bunch it up into a very tight yet very messy bun ( messy is where the waves come in ) secure it to the top of your head ( still wet of course ) and let sit 15- 20 minutes, let hair down and use your fingers to detangle and you'll have a head full of beautiful beach curls.

6th- Olay regenerist

I truly didn't use this product. It smelt good, and I have heard great things about eye serums, but I'm still very young and feel that I don't need it, so why use it. I gave it to a woman who is in her late 40's and she said it was very nice.

7th- Biore face wash

Again, I LOVE LOVE Biore!! There face wash is amazing! it smells great and has the texture of silk. It makes my skin feel healthy and radiant, not to mention clean!

I have been so happy with GlossyBox, and this was just another addition. It was an amazing box, with quality products and carefully chosen. I can't wait to see what Glossy delivers again!

If your considering signing up, then a big "way to go" for you!! AND, if you enter promo code GLOSSY43 and receive 10% off!

XOXO
